Port to i-SITE
A free shuttle runs from Napier Port to the Marine Parade i-SITE visitor centre, departing every 15–20 minutes throughout the day. The ride takes about 5 minutes.

Tips for cruise visitors in Napier
- Currency: New Zealand uses the NZ dollar. Most cafes accept contactless cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Some don't take cash at all.
- Tipping: Not expected in New Zealand. Staff are paid a living wage. A tip is appreciated but never required.
- Cafe hours: Most Napier cafes open between 7–8am and close by 3–4pm. A few stay open later, but don't expect evening service.
